About Leo: The Creative Problem Solver

Leo’s journey reflects a consistent belief in the power of creativity, strategy and disciplined problem-solving to address real-world challenges. His career began with a desire to create meaningful impact, starting at Andes University, where he graduated in Design and InnovationAs part of his thesis, Leo developed an ambitious business plan to transform his mother's furniture business, an initiative that led to the founding of Per La Casa, a furniture brand focused on multifunctional design, innovation and customer-centric experiences.

Over three years, Leo navigated the realities of entrepreneurship, gaining first-hand experience in brand building, go-to-market strategy and growth under real commercial constraints. This period shaped his long-term passion for strategic marketing, performance and design-led problem-solving.

A defining turning point came through an international internship with Procter and Gamble in the United States, which expanded his global perspective and set the foundation for his international career. In 2015, Leo relocated to Brisbane, Australia, with his wife to pursue a Master of Marketing (Advancedat Griffith University.

What began as an academic pursuit quickly evolved into a professional journey across the Oceania marketing landscape. Leo started in field marketing roles before consulting for a social business focused on empowering refugee women. He later joined a Japanese travel-tech startup, where he deepened his expertise in international marketing strategy, cross-market execution and growth planning.

These experiences led Leo into national and global digital marketing agencies, where he now works with industry-leading brands to design and execute performance marketing strategies across international markets, combining data, creativity and innovation to drive measurable results at scale.

Leo’s expertise and impact in performance marketing have been widely recognised. He is a recipient of the Google Honours Award and the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence. He has been a six-time finalist at the APAC Search Awards, with nominations including Best Use of PPC in Retail, Best Use of PPC in Fashion, and Best Use of AI in PPC, as well as a finalist for the Google Agency Excellence Awards.
